To Honor the Survivors

GS-N was established in October of 2010 as a group for children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. Based in the Las Vegas area, GS-N is dedicated to education, remembrance and commemoration. We work to support our local Holocaust survivors, educate the members of our community about the history of the Shoah (Holocaust) and ensure that the legacy of this tragic event in human history is not forgotten, denied or re-written.

GS-N works closely with the Holocaust Survivors Group of Southern Nevada, the Governor's Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust, and the Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center. In preparation for the future, we will hold speaker training workshops for descendants of survivor to prepare us for the day when it will be  our turn to speak to students and civic groups. We also have personal  writing workshops to help us record our families histories.

Members are welcome to suggest programs of interest.
